As much as possible, don't promise someone money if you are not very sure you would be able to redeem it.

My friend is just saying some negative things about his senior cousin. He is very angry that the senior cousin promised him money and has not even talked about it since then. He is angry because he did not ask the senior cousin for money but he promised him out of his own freewill. And now, his hopes were raised and the cousin is not saying anything at all.

Lesson to Learn: Don't promise anyone money when you are not absolutely sure you can redeem it. That can damage relationships easily.

That’s a great pick! Alchemy of Souls is such a beautifully crafted K-drama — the mix of fantasy, romance, and action makes it really addictive. The world-building and character development are top-tier. I totally get watching it in bits; sometimes it’s nice to savor a good series slowly rather than binging it all at once.
As for me, I’m currently into Moving — another Korean series that blends superpowers with emotional storytelling. It’s surprisingly deep and keeps you hooked with every episode. What do you like most about Alchemy of Souls so far — the romance, the magic, or the whole mysterious vibe of it?
That’s a great choice! Alchemy of Souls is one of those K-dramas that really pulls you into its magical world — the story, the chemistry between characters, and that fantasy twist are amazing. It’s totally fine to take breaks; sometimes watching it slowly makes you enjoy the details more.
Right now, I’m watching Moving — another Korean series with a mix of action, mystery, and heartwarming stories about people with special abilities. It’s surprisingly emotional and well-written. Bro, that story is completely true and happens a lot in real life. Your friend had high hopes because he was promised something without asking. Now that cousin's silence hurts him more than if he had not said anything.

The lesson is very clear, don't promise money if you don't know if you can deliver. Promises create expectations and if you fail to fulfill them, it hurts a lot. It's better to tell the truth sooner than break someone's trust. Relationships are fragile and honesty is their foundation.

A lot of people are not very good at saying no, so they end up making fake promises. I think you need to have courage to say no.
That should be it. It is even better to tell someone No than to raise their hopes high and disappoint them later.
