Let's assume that you have a grocery store business and your 18 years old daughter wants to apply as cashier part time to practice her future career as a Commerce student. You might be hesitant to allow your daughter. In my own opinion, it's good to let your daughter do it so she will learn the value of responsibility hardwork and integrity. She will also get a hint if managing a business someday is of her preference. She could also witness how the business is managed by her parents, how the workers do their job and foremost how to deal with customers.

On the other hand, you may not like to hire your daughter. You're afraid she might hoard some money, she's stealing per se but you'll be wrong on that. If don't trust your daughter, it means you don't trust your family nurtured with love and respect. What can you say?

Everything depends on how your daughter has grown up. It's for the mother to study the nature of her daughter. If the daughter is innovative and eager to learn and honest she will surely handle the job well and should be given a chance but if the daughter is spend thrift she will surely not handle the cash efficiently. I have seen my irresponsible brother mismanage finances in our business and put my father in trouble.

It all depends on the family's approval if their daughter is capable of handling the job. It does not mean that because she is their daughter, she could land a job easily despite being part-time. Trust factor and efficiency are the primary considerations.

If the family trust their daughter they will approve their daughter's handling their grocery store.

That is right, if the daughter is raised with good values and fear of doing illegal then there's nothing to worry if the daughter will be hired as cashier off their grocery store. That's shaping the child's responsibility.

It is very important to let the kids practice responsibility and let them know the value of money. When they become mature, they are already equipped with knowledge. Hiring the kid as a part-time cashier is a sign of accepting a responsibility.

That's only an assumption to gather the thoughts of the. members who have a daughter like you. Cashiering requires only manipulation of the business computer and before the daughter starts working it's also assumed that she undergoes training.

In my opinion, parents who are business owners should leave and train so that their children one day become the owner of the family organization, only then will their legacy be passed on.
Yes that's true, but there is also the possibility that the children might not have a passion for this line of work.

That's right why not allow the daughter if she's qualified and ever willing. It's a good training for their daughter.

This also depends on how you trained your daughter and the personality they have developed overtime. If you have a daughter that is meticulous, nothing wrong with allowing her to handle the finances but not a hasty kind of daughter.
