There are devices that people have used up to five years, and they are still working fine. Can we now say they are old because they are long since they were bought?

What really makes a device old? Time or drop in performance?

Functionality features of a fone drops as we use our phones everyday,it can't stay the same lol the worst part is when you attempt to call someone then it shuts down,6 years is enough unless your mobile wasn't repaired then you’re good for few years.

When a phone is properly handled, it can last more than five years and working at optimum performance. Personally, once a phone is working pretty okay, i will not consider it old. It is old when it starts to lag behind in speed and start to malfunction .

For me, when the battery of my phone has depreciated so much that it is performing at half the level it used to perform, I can say the phone is old.
If I see tool running out of charge and stalling, then it's exhausted. For me, if battery keeps on giving, it's no longer useful. have to think about pulling another, stronger machine that accepts more quickly.
