According to the report, Ukrainian attack drones attacked the Rezonit plant in the Moscow region, one of the key facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex. This enterprise produces electronic boards that are used in the control, guidance, and communication of most modern Russian missiles and drones. The strike could seriously affect Russia's ability to wage high-tech warfare, and that is precisely its strategic significance for Ukraine.

The report also stated that a serial enterprise for the production of printed circuit boards and military electronics, located in the Zubovo technology park in the Klinsky district of the Moscow region, approximately 40 km from the center of Moscow. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Center for Countering Disinformation, the plant’s products are integrated into systems such as: Iskander, Kalibr, Kh-101 missiles; drones "Orlan-10", "Lancet", "Cube"; electronic control units for artillery and missile systems. Simply put, this is the electronic brain of Russian strike equipment, and damaging it is a blow to the entire logic and accuracy of Russian weapons. The General Staff of Ukraine emphasizes that the operation was part of a systemic strategy to weaken the Russian defense industry, aimed at reducing the enemy's ability to produce modern weapons. The attack was carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces in coordination with other defense units. This is a continuation of the line of attacks on critical industrial facilities involved in the supply of weapons to the front. The attack on the Rezonit plant is not a symbolic blow, but part of a deliberate strategy to deprive Russia of the ability to produce modern missiles and drones. Damage to such facilities could significantly slow the pace of replenishment of the high-precision weapons on which the missile strikes on Ukraine rely.

In addition to the report, Ukrainian long-range strikes against military objects within Russia’s rear are crucial for degrading Russian military capabilities throughout the theatre. These are a new capability for Ukraine that may significantly degrade Russia’s war effort. Ukraine has only recently begun acquiring the advanced weapons systems and military capabilities required for modern large-scale combat operations. With continued Western support to scale up these capabilities, Ukraine could potentially carry out strategically significant counteroffensives in the future. The systems and capabilities that Ukraine has been receiving are all necessary to wage successful multi-domain large-scale combat operations, and Ukraine has not yet been provided an opportunity to demonstrate what Ukrainian forces can achieve when properly resourced.
