Australia & Canada Crack Down on Foreign Students

The report said that Australia has become the latest country to limit the number of international students it will accept. Canberra sets a limit of 270,000 foreign students for 2025. Canada had taken a similar step this January.

Why are Australia and Canada trying to limit the influx of international students? Are the students just scapegoats for the governments who have failed to control their housing crises?

The speculations of these two countries as to why they limit the acceptance of the foreign students is that they may not be able to house the foreign students.

Until I know, these countries are very strict in terms of migration, especially Australia. Well, now, students aren't migrants, but unfortunately they are paying the piper cause the reputation abroad of their fellow citizens.
