The Australian government has announced a total ban of people under 16 years of age from using social media. The government has ordered all social media platforms to deactivate accounts of people under 18 years from their platforms.

A fine of $4 million is in place for any social media platform that flouts this new law.

Even if they find loopholes, there would be some sort of control on the activities of these young people on social media.
I get where the Australian government is coming from.
This campaign will however be difficult to implement as people will mot likely find loopholes to evade these well-meaning controls
