Imagine the thermostat controlling temperature in response to atmospheric conditions.

Imagine the lights turning on just when the day is getting darker.

All these and more are found in automated houses. The idea is that you don't raise a finger to do anything in an automated house.

It is good to know that semi automation of houses is already mandatory for your country. In my country, we don't even have any hope of automated houses being common in 14 years.
