Avoiding getting hacked

I’ve noticed that hacking attempts feel more common now, even on platforms that used to feel quiet and safe. My own rule is to never trust anything that pops up out of nowhere. Password managers helped me clean up a lot of old weak passwords too. I’m wondering what methods you use to stay ahead of these things. Do you keep it simple or do you follow strict routines?

I have greatly reduced the time I spend online on the desktop so that hackers cannot access the desktop easily and hack it to get control of it, misuse it.

Be very careful about the sites that you visit. If you have to visit a completely new site, use a VPN. That way, you won't get hacked.

Always be careful with the amount of details i post online these days cause hackers are everywhere, so we need to be vigilant.

We have to be vigilant; nowadays, hackers are just lurking around. It is crucial if we will be victims of hacking on the web. Chrome is now very strict.

As much as I can, I don't engage in online activities that leave too much digital footprints on the internet.
