A Swedish football fan has broken the Guinness World Record after holding onto a ball using his knees, chest, head and feet for 28 hours, 21 minutes and 2 seconds.
Daniel Jakob attempted the record for the longest ball-control marathon in Kinkoping, Sweden. He was allowed to rest for 50 minutes every three hours, and eventually broke the record set by Englishman Dan Magnus in June 2010 of 26 hours.
These ball-keeping exercises are also known as kick-ups or keepsie-upsies. These have been turned by Jakob into a historic event that demonstrates his resilience and true love for the game of football.
