According to the report, Turkey and Israel could be heading towards direct military confrontation as the two countries find each other on opposite sides of the Syria conflict.
According to an Israeli defence panel, Tel Aviv must prepare for a direct confrontation with Ankara. The Nagel Committee said Turkey’s ambitions to restore its Ottoman-era influence could lead to heightened tensions with Israel.
The report said that the Nagel committee has been established by the Israeli government to look into the changing geopolitical landscape in the Middle East. The committee’s assessment comes amid Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's increasingly assertive policies in the region.
Erdogan must not be impulsive .He better thinks for the progress of his country and not to participate in the war. Why does he intervene the war and favor the other side , the Syrian rebels and the other terror groups?
One viewer said: Turkey has been playing for a long time on this terrorism. First to crush the Kurdish totally in the North, and Erdogan branded them as terrorists. Erdogan's elite secret forces failed to do it until Israel, who is the one who continued to weaken Iran's elite troops inside Syria. After all, without much firing Erdogan Isis, other rebel faction groups easily entered Syria for Assad and Russian forces to withdraw. Erdogan took all these advantages. Turkey's goal is no other than to revive the caliphate and Ottoman Empire. There will be no peace in Syria while Erdogan is still in power.
