Bear kills motorcyclist in Romanian mountains

In one of Romania's most scenic mountain areas, a bear attacked a guy and killed him. According to investigators, the victim, who was on a motorbike, pulled over Tuesday morning at a well-known tourist destination on the Transfagarasan road. They said that the bear pulled him down a steep valley that dropped around 80 meters (262 feet) in elevation. "Unfortunately, he was already dead when we arrived," the BBC was told by Ion Sanduloiu, the head of the Arges County Mountain Rescue Service.
