Because rich people don’t have to think about money.

Because they have so much of it, they don’t see it as an obstacle between themselves and what they want.

They talk about “love”, “positive thoughts” or “spirituality” as what really matters, as the secrets to happiness and say that concerns about money are trivial… from the comfortable position of not having to worry about potentially becoming homeless or not being able to put food on the table.

I think that opinion has some merit, but it also oversimplifies the situation. It's true that wealthy people don't face the same daily worries as someone in a difficult financial situation, and that can influence their perspective on what truly matters in life. However, I don't believe that money is the sole determinant of happiness or personal fulfillment. Many people with resources also struggle with emotional issues, complicated relationships, or inner dissatisfaction. The idea that only financial worries are trivial strikes me as somewhat reductionist, because genuine happiness also comes from human connection, from feeling a sense of purpose, and from finding inner peace. Money can facilitate certain aspects, but it doesn't guarantee happiness, nor does it mean that people without as much money can't live full and meaningful lives.

I don't think this is completely true though, there are rich people who still wants to make more money, hence they are always looking for the next best opportunity out there.

But they don't have to worry about basics like food and other basic bills. They would always aspire to make more money but they have grown above basic financial needs.

That is a normal picture for the wealthy they don't have problems related to money, but they work harder just to reach on the level where they are now. However, we never know deep inside the struggles they have not related to money like infidelity of a spouse, or a sickness that money cannot cure.

It is absolutely true that the rich often do not live looking for the next opportunity because the desire for growth never stops. People with a lot of money are still looking for new deals, fresh investments or businesses to increase income. For them, it is not just survival, it is a game of increasing influence and maintaining status. Even if they have millions, they still see the opportunity to increase more. This is why you find rich people hustle as if they are still at the beginning because for them, money is like a game of constantly finding a new level.
