Because they have money and can’t deal with their specific problems despite their money. But the truth is, money is the single most important thing in the world. If you have psychological problems like depression, you need treatment. Treatment isn’t free. If you’re lonely and want love, you need money- dates are not free and no one will date someone who doesn’t have money, unless they are questionable themselves, and two screwups dating leads often to addiction, jailtime, divorce, and misery. If you get sick and need surgery, you need money. If you want any shelter, you need money. Welfare and unemployment don’t pay enough, and if they did, they morally affect you to the point where you become entitled and indolent

I think that view of money and its associated problems is quite narrow and, in some ways, simplistic. It's true that money makes many things in life easier, but it's also important to recognize that it can't solve all emotional, mental health, or relationship problems. The idea that everything boils down to having money can lead to a materialistic and disconnected view of reality. Many people face financial difficulties and still find ways to maintain their dignity and seek help without money being the only solution. Furthermore, the relationship between money and happiness or emotional well-being isn't always linear. Personally, I believe that money is a tool, but it shouldn't be the sole measure of worth or success in life. Mental health, genuine relationships, and personal fulfillment are also fundamental and don't always depend on money.
