According to the report, an adult man was accused of pointing a gun at a group of 12-year-old Christmas carolers who were going door-to-door to spread holiday cheer.
The report stated that three 12-year-old girls were going door-to-door singing Christmas carols on the night of November 22 when they came upon a home inhabited by 58-year-old Paul Brian Susie, according to the police.
The report added that the children approached Susie's residence and knocked on the door twice, announcing themselves as Christmas carolers, according to court documents obtained by a local outlet. After hearing this, Susie allegedly approached his bay window from the inside of his home and pointed a firearm at the children. The girls ran away from the house, and one of their mothers called 911 to report the incident.
In addition to the report, when officers located the gun inside Susie's home, they discovered it was loaded, per the documents. Susie allegedly confirmed to authorities that he pointed the firearm at the kids.
During questioning, Susie reportedly acted loudly and belligerently, which he attributed to drinking with his wife shortly before the children arrived at his doorstep.
