From time to time i have seen most business owners talk about their missions and objectives, even on official pages of most well known companies, there is also a space for mission and objectives. What is the benefit of having a mission and objectives?
 
A mission statement serves as springboard for a business performance of achieved or not or about to achieved or never. An objective is part of the mission vis a vis with rules and policies. At the end of the year, the business organizers will check if having achieved their mission and if objectives were met.
 
Yes this is true,every organization needs to have some goals or strategic plan on what they would like to achieve and how they will achieve that.So a periodic reviews like every quarter or annually ensures that those responsible are held accountable and report back the achievements or set backs.That is how development comes into play when you have a well structured hierachy.

I'm somewhere in between. Having a mission and objectives can be helpful, but it's not always necessary. Some businesses are successful without them, and they still manage to make a positive impact. It's important to remember that missions and objectives can be vague and don't always translate to real action.

There are many businesses that also never unveil their objectives or goals. They may also have a secret agenda. This may not necessarily mean that they are bad companies or they may have some kind of negative agenda. However, they would carry their mission secretly.

I have not observed a business here keeping a mission and goal secretly. Mission and goals are posted in a strategic location where people can read and understand the mission and goal all about.
