Better control on desktops compared to tablets

I am finding that I have better control of the cursor position while working on a desktop compared to a tablet or smartphone and it is also much faster, increasing the productivity to a large extent. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

It depends on what I am doing though, there are some things I find a lot easier to do on my phone than on a system and vise versa.
