The entertainment sector has become a money spinning sector. Two of the biggest aspects of entertainment is comedy and music. The two of them have made millionaires out of some talented people that venture into them.

Between comedy and music, which is more lucrative in your country? Which pays more?

I think it depends on the level you are in both industries. I have seen musicians traveling out to various countries just to perform, but this is also the same thing for comedians.

Music is the bedrock of the entertainment industry. It pays far better than comedy. There are a few well paid comedians but there are many financially rich musicians.

Musicians easily get fame outside their countries. It takes much more for comedians to have such fame and that can easily translate to more money.

I think musicians here tends to make more money especially the popular ones that have to perform both home and abroad

I like both as they entertain me. Music is the universal language of the soul and the voice of the heart and comedies make me happy to the max too. Sky is the limit when laughing .

Music has a universal audience and with that, the target market is wider. Comedy is more restrictive in terms of global a reach from a particular country. Music is better than comedy in terms of being lucrative.
