According to the report, a significant escalation occurred as Israel conducted airstrikes in Beirut. Esmail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force, may have been wounded.
The report said that an investigation is underway regarding the incident. The airstrike reportedly occurred in southern Beirut. Qaani oversees Iran's terrorist and proxy affiliates in the region. The same attack targeted Hashem Safieddine, Nasrallah's presumed successor.
The Iran leaders are still investigating whether Esmail Qaani was killed during the airstrike of Israel in Beirut on October 4. But the Lebanese report said that Ismael Qaani was killed.
