The recent collapse in global markets has dragged Bitcoin and Ether down with it, and honestly, it shows how interconnected crypto has become with traditional finance. Personally, I used to see Bitcoin as a hedge, something separate from Wall Street’s mood swings. But now, it reacts almost in sync with equities. What surprises me is how quickly sentiment shifts one day optimism, the next panic. For me, the most important lesson is that crypto is no longer immune to global shocks. I believe this correlation will continue as institutional investors dominate trading. In the end, Bitcoin and Ether are proving they’re part of the broader financial system, not an escape from it.
