It's cool to see Bitcoin miners using more and more renewable energy. What really gets me is thinking about how sustainable this whole thing could become. It's pretty awesome watching the industry change like this, figuring out ways to be better.
I'm honestly surprised by how much money is going into solar and wind power for Bitcoin mining. Like, that's a serious commitment. To me, the big thing is making sure everyone knows what's going on – transparent operations are key.
When it's all said and done, I think this move toward green energy actually makes Bitcoin look a lot more legit. It shows the industry is thinking about the long game and not just burning through electricity without a care. It could help gain general approval from people and government. Using renewable energy will help Bitcoin be accepted.
If Bitcoin mining is not sustainable, it will get no support in the future. It is great to see Bitcoiners using renewable energy for mining. This will help the activity be sustainable.
