On October 7, 2025, BNB, the main token of the Binance ecosystem and launched in 2017, surpassed XRP. Today, on October 17, 2025, it has surpassed Tether (USDT) in terms of market cap. BNB currently stands at US$1,295 with a market cap of $180,538,931,273, while Tether (USDT) has a market cap of $179,942,832,129.

According to BNB Chain Token Terminal data, BNB coin's active users have surged to 4.3 million addresses. In DeFi, its TVL has reached US$9 billion, placing it in third place behind Ethereum and Solana.
