Boracay, Palawan, Siargao voted among Asia’s ‘top islands’

According to the report, Luxury travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler (CNT) has named Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao as among the world’s top islands in its 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. The islands ranked 4th, 5th, and 7th, respectively, on the Asia list, joining other popular beach destinations, such as Phú Quốc in Vietnam and Phuket in Thailand.

The report also stated that the survey results were based on votes cast by the magazine’s readers in the United Kingdom, which was published on CNT's website on Oct. 7.

In addition to the report, Boracay made it to the “Top Islands: Readers’ Choice Awards 2025” with a score of 90.54. Palawan bested Bali, Indonesia, with 90.23 points, while the surfing island haven of Siargao secured 85.49 points.

I find it fascinating that Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao have been recognized as some of the best islands in Asia by Conde Nast Traveler readers. Personally, I've always felt that these Philippine islands have a special charm, not only for their dreamy beaches but also for their tranquility and natural beauty. This recognition validates what many of us already know: these islands offer unique experiences, from relaxing on their idyllic beaches to the adventures in Siargao, famous for its surfing. While the fact that the survey is based on UK votes may offer a limited perspective, it's still a good indicator of their popularity and international appeal. I believe this could attract even more tourism and promote greater conservation of these destinations, which undoubtedly deserve to be considered among the best in the world.
