Absolutely, you can borrow any item you need and return it once you are done using it You have done a great job for borrowing a suit instead of buying. This way, you can save a lot of money. Sometimes, I borrow clothes from my sister, too.

Indeed there are family members who won't allow even me, I will never let anyone borrow my things. I am strict to that. I better give than return already worn by others.

That's a limitation which I understand very well. That's the essence of having good relationships. Sometimes, even if your relatives refuse to give you, you can borrow from friends that you have good relationships with.
