A little eight-year-old boy was left 'screaming in agony' after being tear-gassed by French police when his family got caught up in a pro-Palestine protest in Paris.

According to the report, Lawrence's mother Radia Austin, 46, questioned if the city is a safe place to host the Olympics after he was left with acute eye problems. She said the schoolboy was left screaming in agony after police 'blindly' threw tear gas canisters into the crowd of protesters.

The report said that Radia, Lawrence, and father Paul, 45, were returning to their apartment nearby when one of the canisters landed at his feet. She said that despite approaching the police for help they were simply told to 'wash his eyes'.

According to the report, two weeks on, she says Lawrence is still struggling with throbbing pain is his eyes and is booked in to see a specialist.

This is bad for the little boy. I hope the specialist would help the little boy feel better after the medical session
Yeah, that's right. I pity the young boy. He's innocent and condemned the police of that injustice. The police must be jailed.

Yeah the perpetrator of this crime must not go unpunished. it will be justice for the boy

Just look at his eyes, it seems something is serious in his eyesight. He may become blind if not treated right away.

He might have to under go one surgery or the other. It is a painful situation for every one here
I think the doctor will prescribe the boy with anti biotic eye drops to remove the toxic gas that entered his retina.
