Meanwhile, they are getting disturbing news that a NATO soldier has been found dead in Latvia near the Russian border, and nobody is sure what led to the soldier's death. One viewer commented: The deceased NATO soldier is Warrant Officer George Hohl, a Canadian Army vehicle technician attached to the 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron of the RCAF as part of Operation Reassurance, Canada’s contribution to the NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia. He was reported missing on September 2 and was found deceased on September 5. The Canadian Department of National Defence has not released any details regarding his disappearance or his death, but did say, “there is no indication this incident poses an increased threat to our deployed members’ safety and security.”The incident is being investigated by Latvian authorities with support from the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Military Police.
