According to the report, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are taking countermeasures against the enemy: attacks on the south of the Zaporizhia region, plunging the region there into blackouts, the destruction of two key railway lines in the Bryansk region - these are not just coincidences. Former spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, retired colonel, military expert Vladislav Seleznev, explained that certain preventive activities are currently being carried out to complicate the logistics of the Russian army as much as possible.

The report said that this significantly delays their advance. One of the key factors influencing the pace of resource transfer is the stable functioning of the railway service. If relay cabinets burn, bridges and overpasses are destroyed, there is a significant delay in the movement of military cargo," he says in an interview with Glavred. Seleznev explains that logistics is the movement of resources. No resources - no progress on the battlefield. "You can't transport much by road or air - it's too slow and expensive. The most effective way to move military resources is by rail. And if it doesn't work reliably, it significantly slows down the enemy's combat logistics," Seleznev says.

The report added that the expert also reminded that currently about 30% of the territory of the Donetsk region is still under our control. And the key, largest settlements also remain under our control. Therefore, the Russians are trying to take them under their control, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces are disrupting the enemy's plans. Recently, explosions caused two bridges to collapse and derailed two trains in western. In one of the incidents, seven people were killed and dozens were injured.

In addition, the first bridge, in the Bryansk region on the border with Ukraine, collapsed on top of a passenger train on Saturday, causing casualties. The train's driver was among those killed, state-run Russian Railways said. Hours later, officials said a second train derailed when the bridge beneath it collapsed in the nearby Kursk region, which also borders Ukraine. In that collapse, a freight train was thrown off its rails onto the road below as the explosion collapsed the bridge, local acting Gov. Alexander Khinshtein said. The crash sparked a fire, but there were no casualties, he said.
