Building early childhood leaders through early guidance

Children must first be grounded in moral values a leader without discipline or respect becomes a danger to society. Are parents and elders today giving enough moral guidance to the young ones?

It’s true that moral values are the roots that shape a person’s character, especially during childhood. When these foundations are weak or neglected, the result can be adults who lack empathy, discipline, and a sense of responsibility. Unfortunately, today’s generation is growing up in an era where technology, social media, and external influences often overshadow traditional moral teachings. Parents and elders, in many cases, are so focused on providing material comfort that they forget the importance of moral education.
Guidance should go beyond simply telling children what is right or wrong. It should involve living those values daily—showing respect, patience, honesty, and kindness in real-life situations. When children see these principles practiced consistently, they internalize them naturally. Society doesn’t just need successful people; it needs good people with strong ethics, capable of leading with compassion and integrity. That responsibility begins at home.
