Business not replying after collecting payment

A company had promised to sell my unused timeshare rentals in a reputed timeshare company and had collected a membership fee which they claimed was refundable. They promised to get some bookings within a month. They did not get any booking and are also not replying to emails. What is the best way to get a response or at least a refund of the membership fee?

Some of these are outright scam and they didn't have the products in the first place. it's good to use only business you are sure of the seller.

If there is a way you can reach out to the company physically then do so. Some companies are like this and it is very annoying. This is why most persons tend to pay half and would only pay the other half when they get what they want.

Most businesses would do the same as others say that as soon as the payment is done to settle a deal, most people consider the deal to be sealed if the payment is done.

It is not good to trust anyone whether online or offline nowadays. There are lots of scam going on. Trust is impossible that we should not take for granted. I have my lessons trusting people I know and those that I just met in short period.

I think you should be very villiganty online. Most of these are scammers and we should stay away from them.
