Businesses relying on discounts

When it comes to attracting more customers, should businesses rely on giving our discounts alone or simply find other ways as well. I know a small business in my area that is constantly giving out discounts every month to attract sales.

Yes you have a point there, the most important thing should be that you are making profit, but can a business last with just giving discounts? Especially if price of thing starts increasing.

It depends on the products that are sold. In my case, my product offers no discount. There's a uniform pricing of milk tea. There's special offer done every fiesta celebration. Giving a discount only happens in a retail store, fish or vegetable vendors.

In my opinion, although discounts can attract new customers and retain existing ones, if they are used too frequently, they can have negative consequences, such as price wars, where large businesses will always win. Therefore, it's best to combine them with other methods.
