If you desire to save more but eat more, you need self - discipline. If it's your habit to do list before shopping, it's essential for you to see only what you've written in your list. Don't shift your mind to other things not in your list then at the end of your shopping you realized the add ons not significant for personal or home use. There's no time to regret but to make sure you won't repeat the same mistakes deciding without thinking.

You are absolutly right on that one. Sticking to your budget is really important as it helps you save money as compared to when you buy impulsively. When you buy impulsively you end up buying things you dont necessarily need which is just a waste of money.

I make a note of the items I will buy through writing on Whatsapp that I send to my other Whatsapp number so that the items are not forgotten to be purchased. but I also often buy things that are not on the list such as snacks and other foods.
I also listed down the items that I need to buy. There are also tomes that I buy things not part of my list he he. I am sometimes stubborn. But I do it rarely.

While I do not prepare a list of items I want to buy, they are in my mind. I usually buy just what I need. I buy extra only if there is a really good deal such as buy one get one free. And the additional items I buy are what I need to use.

It is very important to control the impulse within you when you want to shop. Stick to your list. It is discipline to do that.
