Can a heat stroke cause memory loss?

Some people claim that they have suffered from heat stroke which caused memory loss due to which they do not remember their plans at the time of the stroke. Their other skills may also be affected . Has anyone else faced a similar problem?

One of my friend suffered stroke up till now he ise to suffer memory loss. Though, i don't know if he suffered from heat stroke. One thing i know is that the doctor said it is stroke he is suffering from.

Yes i have heard about cases of heat stroke causing memory loss, from short term to long term memory loss.
