Almost all the graphics designers that I know are very good with printing. They have all the knowledge about printing. That is why when they get graphics jobs, they also get the printing offer for that job too. Can someone thrive as a graphics designer without having deep knowledge of printing services?

I know a lot of graphic designers who don't know much about printing. In fact professional designers don't have time for that because the real money is in designing.
