I know of some guys on Twitter that keep posting analysis of the crypto market with charts. When I asked them for the actual trades they did, they said they don't actively trade. Is it possible for someone to be good at analysing the crypto market when they don't actually trade?

Many factors can determine analytical skills, one of which is past trading experience in the fields of crypto, stocks and forex, besides that it is also supported by their educational background and work experience on the crypto exchange. So it is very possible for someone to master crypto analysis without having to actively trade, so they focus on working in the field of research and market analysis on the crypto exchange.

Depending on what type of analyst you are, it can be a person who invests for the long term and only in spot and analyzes the market from a fundamental aspect to determine the possible future value of an asset, and you cannot necessarily be trading the market constantly.

I think it is possible, but at the same time their level of experience can never be ad those who trade as they have both practical and theoretical experience.
