Can someone negotiate the amount he can pay for child support?

I often wonder the parameters used to determine the amount someone should pay as child support. But most times, people are not able to meet up with the obligations of child support because the amount given by the court is too much.

Can someone negotiate child support to the amount he can reasonably pay?

Am not sure though, i think it usually depends on both parties, if they are willing to come together and cooperate together and reach an agreement.

I think you can, but it wouldn't be fair because if you hit a child, I think you have to pay that much, they'll say, because you're to blame for this problem anyway

This child support thing always hurts men very badly. Even if the custody is with the man, the mother is still not pressured to pay. It's like the system doesn't see that the child belongs to both of them.

But there are men who just fight without complaining and raise children without help. This is not fair at all but life must go on. We need changes in the law and also awareness so that every parent is equally responsible.
