I often wonder the parameters used to determine the amount someone should pay as child support. But most times, people are not able to meet up with the obligations of child support because the amount given by the court is too much.

Can someone negotiate child support to the amount he can reasonably pay?

It's possible to reach an agreement between two parties, especially if they both cooperate. However, the agreed-upon amount of money must be sufficient to meet the child's needs. It is recommended to hire a lawyer to ensure that the amount is reasonable.

Am not sure though, i think it usually depends on both parties, if they are willing to come together and cooperate together and reach an agreement.
