Can you build a big business on ecommerce site

Ecommerce sites allow you to open you own online store without having to spend any money on domain, hosting or creating your store. Some sites have listing fees but basically most ecommerce sites are free. However, the big question is can we build a huge business by creating store and running a business through ecommerce sites. Do you think we can generate hundreds of thousands sales?

I do not have any idea if one can project good sales or generate thousands There are big stores here like Shopee, Lazada, and Temu. I am so sure they generate million sales. They have many merchants and franchisers.

Yes i believe it's possible, though I feel to get this level might take some time and some hard work to achieve though.
