Well, I run two forums. Have I managed to build them as a business? No. Is it possible to build my forums as a business? Absolutely. How easy is it to run a forum as a business? Well, in my experience, very difficult. One of the major issues faced by forums is building loyal users just like on social media platforms where people post even when they don't receive incentives.
