Even though Amazon is a US-based company, it operates in many countries. But can it also be used to sell products from anywhere in the world. Well, access to Amazon seller programs varies depending on location. For instance Merch by Amazon is available globally, great where as Amazon FBA is only available in countries with Amazon warehouses. Amazon also restricts countries like Cuba, Iran, North Korea, etc. Amazon Associate program is also globally available

Inventory goes to a prep center, the prep center sends to Amazon, and I manage listings and ads from a laptop

Yes, Amazon allows sellers from many countries to list and sell products on their platform through Amazon Global Selling. However, not all countries are eligible for seller registration. For example, Nigeria is not currently an approved country for Amazon seller registration.
