Can you survive without the internet connection with your smartphone?

How long can you really stay with your smartphone without the internet connection?
For me l can't stay for five minutes without the internet connection on my phone.

For me l can surely not. That's because l use the phone yo earn online

For a few hours while I am out and about, especially when I am running errands like grocery shopping, I can manage without internet on my smartphone.

When on holiday I often turn off internet data on my smartphone, so I can survive for about 2 days without internet.

Though I can survive without it, but it would be extremely hard, especially due to the fact that majority of my work is done with the help of the Internet.

It's worrisome when there is no internet connection but there's nothing to do but wait until it's restored. I can suffice without an Internet for 5 days. It happened 5 years ago when a ferocious storm killed 7,000 people in the city. There was power interruption for 5 days.
