This is one of the main reasons people don't like having caretakers manage their homes. While there are good ones out there, there are lots of bad ones.
The caretakers are very charming , the senior citizens are trusting them completely, Then after a few months, they disappear or they and their associates rob the home.
This happens almost everywhere giving good caretakers bad name. how do you want to rob another for yourself. Some people have dead conscience
It happens here occasionally too. Senior citizen living alone is vulnerable to torture by caretaker or maid.
