Carney travels to China amid tensions with the US

Mark Carney went to China for Canada, and a ton of people are watching because things are tense with the United States since Trump. I think the big deal is that Canada is trying to get closer to China now, which makes it look like they're doing their own thing in world politics. To me, it’s cool how Canada's trying to stay on good terms with both of these countries that are getting into it with each other; it’s like a really big bet every time they do something. It seems like Washington is getting tough, but Canada is trying to talk things out and work together on money stuff. What I think is the most important thing is that this trip could totally change how people see Canada in the world. In the end, I think Carney kind of shows how Canada wants to be more independent in how it deals with other countries.
