Something happened to me today. I went to the restaurant to eat and I was with some extra money. I ate for the amount that I had budgeted to eat but I was not satisfied with the food. I had to order more and more because I was with cash and ended up eating three times over my budget.

If I didn't have the money on me to pay, I would have managed and gone home. Don't go to the restaurant with extra cash.

I could not agree more. It’s best to avoid carrying extra money to prevent overspending. When we have extra cash on hand, it’s easy to be tempted to buy things we don’t actually need. Make sure to have discipline to prevent these situations from happening.

Another is to be contented with what you have been initially served. No need to asked for extras
It would be easy not to ask for extra when you don't have extra money. That's why you should not even go there with extra money.

In my country, many restaurants prefer to accept cashless rather than cash. Even if we bring cash, the prices at each restaurant will certainly be different, especially if we order a rather expensive drink. What if the cash we bring is not enough to pay the bill?
