A customer met a car dealer and paid the sum of $27k for a car. Left and has not been found for two years. Efforts have been made to trace the person through his bank details but the bank has refused to release any information.

How does the car dealer resolve this?

You have tried to be able to keep the money for two years. I think it would be best to get a lawyer or if there was a written policy when carrying the transaction about how long it would take, then there should be no issuse.

You have to seek the help of the business regulatory agencies for advise on what next to do. Maybe, you have to wait longer.
