According to the report, a sweeping cyberattack campaign out of China targeted the U.S. government and private networks. I don't see any element of truth in the news. It seems to me as mere propaganda. United States government have tight defense intelligence and it will be difficult for Chinese government to penetrate. Secondly, United states government is monitoring every engineer that is working for the country.

It could be possible, most hackers are Chinese. In my country, Chinese hackers were caught hacking the Ph government website. It could also happen to the USA, however, they will not prosper.
