These floods and storms have really hit communities hard again, and it feels like climate change is getting worse faster than we can deal with it. Governments promise to do stuff, but things are changing way too slowly. I think we need to treat climate resilience as seriously as protecting the country. We need to change the way we build roads, houses, and grow food to deal with things as they are now. What’s cool is that you see local communities coming up with their own fixes, but they can't do it all themselves. To me, this is a major signal that climate change isn’t a future worry it’s happening now.
