Coinbase has announced that it would delist all the stable coins that have failed to comply with the regulations of the Markets in Crypto Assets of the European Union and have not gotten the MiCA license. Such stable coins would be removed from Coinbase. And likely, USDT would be affected unless it gets the license by that time.

USDT, since (if I remember correctly) it is tied to the U.S. dollar as a stablecoin, likely won't be affected.

But this proves once more that if you want to do business anywhere, you have to follow the laws/regulations in place there. Coinbase is doing that and they should get credit for doing so.
