Computer functions properly at other location

Yesterday and today my desktop computer was not starting despite connecting it to the power supply properly. When I took the desktop CPU to the sellers office for checking, it started properly without any changes, though it took more time to start. What could be the reason why the computer was not starting despite trying repeatedly? Has anyone else faced a similar problem with their desktop?

I think the devices are developing some technical problems and if it were me l would make some arrangements to sale that to second hand users and l add up some money on top to purchase a new one.
