Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has released a schedule for planned power interruptions across the country over the next two weeks. The outages, necessary for the commissioning of new infrastructure from the Last Mile Connectivity Project and routine maintenance, will affect different zones on a rotational basis. "We sincerely regret the inconvenience and urge customers to plan accordingly. This essential work will result in a more stable and reliable supply in the long term," said KPLC Managing Director Joseph Siror. The schedule is available on the KPLC website and via their official social media channels. Critical facilities like hospitals have been exempted from the interruptions..
