Contractors are forming a mafia in my city

The contractors in Rourkela my city have formed a mafia group. They raise money from the people in any area where government work is alloted. Presently they are extracting money from people at the parking place close to the railway station. If a vehicle is parked for more than 10 minutes they are extracting Rs.500 which is too much. The social activists in our city have started a campaign against this illegal activities.

This has been happening in my country for a long while now to the point where it has become a normal occurrence. The annoying part about this is that they have different groups with different names, so you might end up paying for one thing multiple times to different groups, and if you don't pay they either take your things or harras you.

That's really disgusting. The social activists and the media are protesting against this and have given a memorandum to the railway authorities and district administration.
