Copy paste of files in download folder not working

Earlier I could copy paste files in the download folder to another device while taking a backup. Now I find that after selecting the files from the download folder and trying to copy paste them is not working . I can select several files and copy paste for other folders in the computer. What could be the reason why copy paste for download is not working, and how to correct the settings?

Have you checked if you have enough space on your device? Or maybe just try a simple reboot and see how it works.

That folder is likely write protected. And one can't write on it for now. If that is the case, you might need to tweak some settings in the permissions.

I think that One is not possible in my devices too. I really wonder why it's not able to do so.
