Out there I met a well-known figure in the crypto world, Ben Armstrong, who upheld and predicted Solana's ability to overtake Ethererum in terms of market cap. According to research conducted, there was an increase in institutional investment 4 times greater than Ether. In the first half of November Sol was able to attract investors of US$13 million compared to US$3.3 million in Ethereum. In this analysis we also need to compare technical infrastructure analysis such as transaction speed, scalability and transaction fees, and it seems that Solana is superior to Ethereum. Apart from that, we also need to consider community support and developer activities of the two cryptocurrencies.

I do not think that the Solana could take place of Ethereum. As of now, Ethereum is far much more popular as compared to Solana. Solana is quite far away from Ethereum in the race of top cryptocurrencies albeit it does enjoy seventh place in the list of top 10 cryptocurrencies. Ethereum also has a really huge market capitalisation as well.

I also think so, a lot of developers are taking advantage of the Ethereum blockchain, but most of the Ether is currently locked (staking), so it's a bit difficult to predict, maybe Ben Armstrong's intention is just to pump Solana uphill.

The market capitalization of Ethereum and the total utilities prove that Ethereum would continue to explore and boom, it would be hard for Solana to grow up to that level..
